Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. She was raised listening to classical, old boleros along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other theatrical performances. At age 16 she began singing and learning the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to give her more intense training in singing. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. When she moved to the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present home in the southern part of California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. As a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for art and music has her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to sing the same.
