Elizabeth Gillies (born Elizabeth Gillis) is an American actress, singer and music producer. She is best known for her character Lucy on the Broadway musical 13 as well as Jade West in the Nickelodeon sictom Victorious. The actress began her career in advertisements in the year 2000. The Black Donnellys (2007) was her debut appearance on television. Between between 2010 until 2013, she was Jade West on the Nickelodeon TV Series Victorious. In 2010 she was nominated for the Critics Choice Movie Awards for most promising young actor due to her part in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The year after, she received recognition for her role as the lead in the science-fiction thriller Super 8, which won the Spotlight Award in the Hollywood Festival of the Dead. She then performed the lead role in comedies We Bought a Zoo (2011 and Ginger & Rosa 2012) and also as Princess Aurora in fantasy films Maleficent (2014 and Maleficent Mistress of Evil - Maleficent Mistress of Evil, 2014 -).
